Our Editorial Independence

Love Those Deals maintains strict separation between our editorial team and our commercial/affiliate relationships. Merchants cannot pay for positive coverage, higher rankings, or improved deal placement. Our editorial content is based solely on factual research and user benefit.

Merchant Storefront Standards

Every merchant storefront page on Love Those Deals is written or reviewed by our editorial team. We follow these standards:

  • Factual accuracy: All claims about a merchant (shipping policies, return windows, pricing) are verified against the merchant's official website at the time of writing.
  • Regular updates: Merchant pages are reviewed and updated at least quarterly, or when major policy changes occur.
  • No sponsored language: We do not use promotional language provided by merchants. Our descriptions reflect independent assessment.
  • Savings tips: All savings tips are based on real, verifiable methods that shoppers can use — not fabricated or hypothetical.
  • FAQs: Frequently asked questions are based on actual common queries, not marketing copy.

Deal Curation Standards

Deals displayed on Love Those Deals are sourced from affiliate networks and processed through our automated pipeline. Every deal undergoes:

  • Deduplication: Duplicate offers from multiple networks are merged into a single canonical listing.
  • Confidence scoring: Each offer is scored 0–1 based on source reliability, offer age, and historical validity rate.
  • Expiration monitoring: Deals past their end date are automatically suppressed from display.
  • Manual verification: High-traffic merchant offers are periodically manually verified by our team.

Ranking and Featured Placement

Merchant and deal rankings are determined by a composite score that includes: deal quality, brand recognition, active offer count, EPC (earnings per click), and user engagement signals. Merchants cannot purchase higher rankings. Featured homepage placements are selected by our editorial team based on merchant performance and seasonal relevance.

User-Submitted Deals

We accept user-submitted coupon codes via our contact form. Submitted codes are reviewed by our team before being published. We verify the code works and meets our accuracy standards.

Corrections Policy

If you find inaccurate information on any Love Those Deals page, please report it. We will review and correct factual errors within 2 business days.
